On Tuesday the 15th may 2012, Year 5 went to Lymington River. The first stop was silver stream which was the source of the river. As it was the source it was verry muddy and all churned up. The first thing we did with the river was to see how deep the river was. Some places in the river were too deep to go in, it would have filled up our wellies. We did this by using a metre stick. My group had 30cm as the deepest and 7cm as the shallowest.
The next thing we did with the river was measure how fast the source of the river was. We had three goes which were all different. The first one was 32 seconds and the second one was 36 seconds and the last one was 46 seconds.
