Monday 5th November 2012 – Tamarind Class presents Perseus and the Gorgon Medusa

At the end of last half term, Year Five studied the story of Perseus and the Gorgon Medusa, a legend from the time of the Ancient Greeks.

After reading an existing version, each class broke the story up into pieces and wrote their own versions of one of the pieces. We then rehearsed telling our sections before putting the story back together.

Here is Tamarind’s version of the story.

  2. Hi Year 5.
From watching your tv channel, I now know the story you have been studying so thanks for sharing it. What a great idea! I guess this story linked in with your greek pots that you made. It seems like you have learnt a lot about life in Ancient Greece. What would you say are the biggest differences between life for the ancient Greeks and life for us now?
